Designed by Nucleon Fuel, the SMT-5000 is a modern Uranium Conversion Module that will produce approximately 5,000 tonnes of uranium hexafluoride (UF₆) annually, the essential feedstock required for uranium enrichment. Leveraging this proprietary process technology, our team is advancing projects across Canada and the United States with a focus on modern infrastructure, strategic logistics, energy security and long-term industrial growth.

Uranium conversion is a critical and often overlooked step in the nuclear fuel cycle, and today, Western supply is dangerously low. There are currently only two major commercial conversion facilities operating in North America. With limited flexibility to take on new supply commitments, the need for new, domestically controlled infrastructure has never been greater.
